Dear members and friends of Pagbabago!
Pagbabago! is introducting the Tie-A-Yellow- Ribbon: Tuloy ang Laban! Campaign to call on the people to continue the struggle for democracy, truth, accountability, justice and genuine change.
Pagbabago! is one of the main organizers of the event in August 21, which is a memorial prayer assembly, with the tag Dilaw sa Pagbabago!
Here are the details:
August 21, 2009 - Ninoy Aquino Monument in Ayala Avenue cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati
Assembly: 3:00pm
There will be a pre-program starting 3:30pm.
The ecumenical service will start 4:00pm and ends 6:00pm.
Please join the Pagbabago! activities leading up to the prayer assembly:
1) August 20, 5:00pm in Plaza Salamanca (Kalaw Ave. cor. Taft Ave.)
> Ribbon tying and noise barrage by students, faculty and employees along Taft Avenue.2) August 21, 11:30am at the EDSA Shrine in Ortigas
> Hanging of a huge yellow ribbon, yellow ribbon-tying and distribution of ribbons to mass-goers(Regular mass is at 12:15nn, so we have to end before the mass starts.)
